*Tessellation
1. A set of shapes fitted together without overlaps or gaps
Polyform
- A solid or planar structure comprised of multiple, identical, geometric components, which may themselves be polyforms.
- A structure whose components are dissimilar but join or intersect in a loosely geometric or tessellated* way such that the structure achieves a geometric or rigid appearance.
